Troubleshooting 82 Cross-fire issues
I am finally getting my 82 back on the road, been in the garage parked for close to 6 years.. I've gone through and dropped all the fluids, cleaned the fuel tank, fuel pump, new plugs,wires, hoses, belts, timing chain, etc.. Car has 60K on it, started right up but runs like crap.. At first the injector on the driver side (rear injector?) would not open except when you would increase the throttle.. Now it's opening at idle but car still runs like crap and backfires through that same throttle body and runs rich.. No codes coming up but I am sure the injectors are not clean after sitting for so long. I was also thinking the O2 sensor should be replaced as it's the original and could be contributing to the issue..
Any advice where to start with this?
