Would be great if someone would organize a C3 meeting around here... Olivier

Well - we had a couple of local Vette meetings around here... However - usually only 1 or 2 C3's show up. Usually 90% of the Vettes are C5's... The only place you find several C3's on a regular basis is the "Tower Shops at Davie" Cruise night...
I might travel to Canada and I am going to bring my girl but.... I won't bring my car... I have a very good friend who lives near St. John's (New Foundland) and he asked me to visit him. He might come to Toronto (his brother lives in Toronto) to meet with me there. However - nothing is 100% yet....
GrandSportC3 try to make it 3rd week of July or so, Silvr77 and MountainMotor are heading up here then as well. You guys should get in touch with one another to co-ordinate when you can come up at the same time. I promise that we won't have too much snow up here in July for you.
Here you see the bride and groom getting their picture taken while sitting on the back deck of Dwayne's 76. While this is happening, Dwayne is hoping for the photo session to be over soon!
Actually, i think around that time i heard some wimpering from behind one of the bushes...
Nice pics. 1bad69, when are you getting the new wheels?
They should be here in about 2weeks give or take a few days...will post pics when they are mounted..
As a side note about today....the traffic on the way to Casa Loma was stop and go with lots of lights..there were at least two times when while we were stopped at lights that there were ricers lined up beside us but going the other direction...ne was a silver Prelude but my favourite was when there was a Cavalier riced up and we were under a bridge...i was behind the Rolls and when i was directly across from him i put the clutch in and REVVED it up to 5000...out the pipes and right at him...next behind me was Superfast80..same treatment..and so on...and so on...it was HILARIOUS.... :D
Yeah, I was right behind you guys at that point, under the bridge. With your collective revs and my resonator-free exhaust system, there was roughly a full minute there during which it sounded like we were underneath the downside blowers at a space shuttle launch.

That's hilarious! You probably scared that poor rice pilot for life :jester Good looking bunch of Vettes too!

During July we will have the Auditor at the company I work... All people on the team I worked were asked not to take any vacation between 15th and 31st of July :( :(. Maybe in September...

Many thanks to Flavio and Natasha for the great barbecue.
Motorhead, I should have been giving lessons on 'keeping up with the limo in city traffic'. Some of you guys were embarrassing me - I'm not name names....err....cough...Dwayne....cough. ...cough...
BTW, the wife's name is Nadia. She now thinks I am seeing someone else.
Really guys, I had a GREAT time today with you all. mg62, it was great to meet you and I hope you continue to join us every month as we find other excuses to get together. Ace77, when your car is finished, I expect you to be one of the road regulars.
Nadia says she'd love to make this our annual ritual - host ALL the boys for the kickoff BBQ at our house - maybe even close off the season with a BBQ at the house. I can't argue with that even though my big block project is taking a back seat to her dining room set project.
Thanks. It was a blast to meet all of you guys. Lookin' forward to seeing you again, and tearing up some more highway, over the course of the summer.
I anticipate hosting one of these things at my place sometime, though I haven't broken that news to my wife yet .... (I'm just imagining the tsk-tsking and the looks on the faces of the neighbourhood housfraus as my driveway overflows with roaring Corvettes -- yes, must do this!)
There were more cameras there yesterday than mine and Motorhead's. Where's the rest of the pics?

Wow, Olivier, I guess I take for granted all the Sharks I see in my area. I am surprised, considering your location, that you do not see more. I do not even have to leave the house to see a nice C3 cruise by. Just today, as I was working in the front landscaping, a beautiful, soft bumper, bright orange, T-top Shark cruised by my house. Looked awesome. Also saw an electron blue C5 coupe and a polo green C4 convertible. All were topless, which was no surprise considering the sunny weather.
