Hi Guys, the best way for this valve would be probably rebuilding it by some specialists like corvette central, but that would require sending my unit back, but beeing located in Poland, Europe, that is almost not possible... So decided to rebuild it on my own, I will order from US only the rebuild kit, so the question is how should it be put together. Any pictures? I did the refurbishing yesterday but are not 100% sure if I put it together correctly. How should it be working? My seals were good, it was not leaking and when puting together it was a tight fit. The only thing that needed replacment was the ruber boot on the bal joint. But I am wondering if the insides I have put correctly.
I rebuilt my power steering pump and used standard Vavoline power steering fluid and have had zero leaks in any part of the system which would include the power steering cylinder. I think you don't want to use transmission fluid in place of the power steering fluid.
