Trim Tag Codes?
I've done an archive search and a google search on the web & can't find anywhere that explains how to read trim tag codes for the various years of Corvettes. Can anyone tell me what Trim 407 Paint 974 means on a '69?

Not sure about '69, but if the use of those particular code numbers didn't change between '69 and '74 ... in 1974 they meant Red Metallic paint with a silver custom leather interior.
