i have a set ..first stick with the black ones if u can cause there cheaper and look much better..the only time i need to remove them is at the drag strip so i can make sure the pedal hits the metal..they do sit up a little high and restrict u a bit but not too bad..i love them ,,they look good and do a really great job...i give them a A++ thats my 2 cents worth..
They are a blessing. Go for them. This set is 18 years old (no carpetted surface then) and look virtually like new. As well the carpets in my car are in original condition. Water, mud, grease, whatever stays in the plastic boot and can be cleaned away very easily outside the car.
if u look at the picture of pauls vette u will see that the still plates are the silver metal strips that hold down the carpet by the door..when u enter the car ur feet drag along this area and it gets dirty fast..they sell a set of plastic clear covers that cover this area and look sweet with a corvette logo on them..if u have any catalogs check mid-america page 3-122..if not i will take a pic for u ,just let me know..
OK Razz. Power of suggestion. I am careful on entry to my car but I ordered the plastic sill covers tonight to complement my weatherboots and protect the carpet ;) .
