Bump Steer Measurements
I have just completed installing a '84 GM Holden Commodore manual RHD steering rack into my '69 vert. It now comes time for the compliance engineer to check for the bump steer. Does anyone know what the original bump steer measurement was and where it was taken from i.e. the brake disk, the edge of the wheel rim or the somewhere on the tire? Or can someone point me in the right direction to find out this info?
Any help would be appreciated.

Best IMCO to fab up and bolt a simple bumpsteer plate to the hub and take dial indicator readings fore and aft at regular increments (suggest 1/2" or less) of travel from static ride height into droop and bump. Assuming those measurements were likely taken with 15" wheels, I'd use that as the diameter to keep measurements relative to the chart.
