I recently removed and repainted (dyed) my steering column and now after putting it all back together, the car wont start. All i hear is a clicking sound from what looks like a relay located near the brake booster. Any suggestions?
Your ignition switch on the top of the column probably needs adjusting. Did you take it off to paint the column? Does the notch in the key cylinder line up with the marker on the column when the key is out?
When you turn the key to the start position does it feel normal , do you feel the spring of the start position ?
I'm wondering if you knocked the connector off the neutral safety clutch switch ?
It will be 2 12g purple wires.

Thats exactly what happened... the neutral/safety connector was knocked out. Must have done it when removing the column. Great big THANKS to all of you that helped!
