yes a fully closed throttel plate will help.... try changing gas... this worked well for me, Chevron gas seems to have considerbly less desil effect then other fules i have run... maybe becouse it keeps the combustion chamber cleaner of carbon, thus not ignighting the fuel????. Also, after i put on my CAI this also helped. One other thing, are you running rich at idle? that will also cause this problem...
With little timing (all initial) at idle, the throttle blades have to be opened up pretty good to obtain a reasonable idle RPM, especially if you have a performance cam. This uncovers the transition slots in the carb and when you cut the ignition on a hot engine, she's still pulling fuel from the TS's which often causes dieseling.
Yes, run manifold vacuum to the distributor which will raise your curb idle rpm. Then you can reduce the idle rpm to specs using the idle screw in the mechanical throttle linkage which will close the primary throttle blades and limit the dieseling.
If that doesn't work, there are two or three other tricks we can try. Report back.

Hey guys!
Yesterday I solved the problem of dieseling. Your were right Now I´m running mainfold vacuum to the distributor and the dieseling is gone!
Thank you so much!
