I was having a hard time in finding the cause of it. After checking with the document by Lars, I did adjust the secondary opening rate by turning the spring 3/4 of a turn and it improved a lot. From a dead stop, almost no bug but when cruising at 30 mph and nailing it, flat on it's nose and then boom :seeya.
After more search, I found that my choke pull-off diaphragm was torn. This thing have another fonction that is to control the secondary opening with vacuum load.
Now, no more bug anywhere. My L48 with 3.07 even spin the tire when a nail it from a stop. Well not a burnout but a little spin.
Now it's time to take the top of that carb to adjust the internal.
I tought I'd share my finds.
P.S. thanks Lars for giving me the courage to tune the Quadrajet Beast. :D
Now, I have an off topic question for you, only because of where you are from. A friend was telling me the pronunciation is Kay-beck, but I've always heard it pronounced Qwa-beck. Which is correct?
