Default What is this **** for?

I have a 69 and I have had to replace the vacuum overrides for the head lamps and the wiper door because they have been broken off by the previous owner, and there is this switch in the middle of the two overrides (which is also broken) its electronic not vacuum and I don't know what it is or what it does or where it goes. But I'll bet that everyone who reads this will. Thanks!!!!!

It stops the wipers in mid-sweep, allowing you to change the blades...

That is to stop your wipers when you want to change the blades. Turn on your wipers and they start to work and while they are sweeping the windshield turn the switch. Your wipers will stop so you can change the blades. This little switch causes a lot of frustration.
