Default 77 Headers

Can anyone help with a choice of headers for my 77. 77 has th350 trans and 383 stroker and would like to put dual exh. from headers to rear bumper or maybe to side pipes. The question is shorties or full length and any fitment problems.
Thank You All
Rich

my only suggestion is to cross reference your selection with the headders that work well with the rack and pinion setups so if you ever go that way you have one less obstacle in the way. my long style headers actually clear the oil filter so nicely that i can change my oil by reaching under the car with out jacking it up. i think they are either hedman or hooker (not expensive ones)

I have Dynomax full length headers on my 77. They fit perfectly and there is no ground clearance issue either.
If you switch to full duals you will need to secure the second pipe where it passes thru the trans crossmember. Mid America, Corvette Central etc sell a bracket for that. About $70, but it fits good, with no pipe rattles.

The Summit headers fit perfect, I have used them 3xs now and am putting them on my current vette.

I have Mcjacks shorties which are an exact duplicate of the oem manifolds but on a shorty header. No clearance issue of any type! Personally I think LT headers on a street machine are not necessary but just my 2 cents!

Well then a person don't need a Holley carb, lopy cam, mag wheels, duel exhaust, MSD box ETC!
The whole aftermarket parts community really likes you also.

I think it's funny that anyone who owns a Corvette would bring up "necessity" in an argument.
