I need a picture of a 75 speedometer with the speedometer drive cable attached to it, try to get my hands up there to see if its connected correctly.
The speedometer works, but not right, take off and the needle slowly gets up the the correct speed. Punch it a it takes a while to get up there. It appears to go down at the correct speed.
Is this a cable issue, or a speedometer issue, and or a cable drive out of the trans issue.
No, i don't hear any noise. It just appears to be slow going up.
Will disconnect the cable at the trans ( turbo 400 ) and attach a drill to it and test it out. I thought it might be slipping at the speedo because i had the dash down a few years ago and that's when i noticed it doing that.

When you do the drill trick.. listen for a tinning noise
