Need help with engine numbers (1973 454 LS-4)
I just acquired a 73 LS-4 (454) and I'm trying to locate a document that can help ID the engine numbers. It appears that the engine is not correct for the car because I do not see the VIN sequence on the front engine ID pad.
The engine pad on the front / passenger side of the engine block contains the following numbers. Any help would be appreciated:
T0207TSK<big font> C5F152374<small font>

Looks like it is out of a truck, there were alot of 454 engines from trucks, put into vettes, just because they are 454's. Check your vin number on the window pillar and it will help you find out what you had.
