TKO 600 fluid leak,,,
I installed a TKO 600 on my 79 . Im using a Lokar speedo cable. About a month ago I started getting a fluid leak from the cable. I replaced the cable and still have a leak. Its not leaking from the where the cable ienters the trans. The trans is dry under the cable. It appears that where the cable connects to the speedo cable housing fitting is leaking. Has anyone had a problem like this? Im going to call tremic and Lokar tomorrow but thought someone may have run into this,,,,

Yes, I had this. I think it's fairly common. I can't remember exactly, but the fix had something to do with a small o-ring inside the gear adapter where the cable goes into the gear. I think you can find more details by doing a search here.
