The motor has been redone, the suspension and brakes have been redone.
I just ordered a set of Corbeau A4 seats. I will soon order my six point harness and then update my rollbar.
The interior is basically gutted and trash. I live on Long Island. Anyone knows a good place to have the interior redone on Long Island. Any help would be appreciated. BTW: looking for something close to stock not anything custom or fancy.
A friend of mine just had a portion of a Buick GN seat redone at Automat....flawless match.
A couple of years ago I had to have the headliner reattached on my car [long story related to aftermarket install of a sunroof] the dealer had sent me to an aftermarket place in Hicksville [possibly the one mentioned above]. I could find out the name of this place if necessary.
There is also an interior shop in Lynbrook on Sunrise hwy and Rocklyn Blvd.
Outside of that, what exactly are you looking to do to the interior that you wouldnt be able to do yourself? The whole rollbar thing could make a carpet install a pain in the ***, but what about the rest of the stuff?
Im redoing my interior now as we speak....and have missed every Friday at Bellmore, ironically after buying a home in Bellmore this year
Door panels are gone, carpeting gone, most of the trim gone. The dashboard is still intack.
The panel in the front of the passenger seat just hangs. I did the motor, suspension and brakes. The body need work and I figure after I install the seat and 6 point harness, then the roll bar, The interior will be the last thing for a while.
It adds up hard and fast. Next to the seats, door panels are the most expensive part at $700+ for the pair, and the rest of the interior will nickle and dime you to death.
My advice is definitely to do it yourself instead of going to automat etc, as what you are looking to do doesnt require their service, but does require patience and time.
That and anything that you want to buy, wait for the supplier to offer free shipping and buy a whole bunch of crap at the same time.
My interior is far from the best...someone painted/dyed all of the components, and now Im replacing everything...new door panels, carpet, [recently recovered ebay] seats, shifter console and cover, e-brake console, seat belts, dash pad, windshield header, [used original ebay] driver and pass dash, visors, kick panels., radio. Seems that the only pieces that Im recycling are roof, halo, and quarter trim. I would venture to guess that Ive spent around $2k, possibly more on this stuff

Buy in bulk when the vendors have sales and save on the combined shipping, focus on particular sections at a time. You can also buy items from the C3 Parts for Sale section by keeping an eye out for particular items you need. And .. there's always next year's Corvettes at Carlisle where you can go with a list and really shop around and save.
Having someone else complete the work will kill you in the mark-up and the labor costs.
