Default Oklahoma Forum members - need help!

I am interested in buying an engine in Piedmont - Oklahoma.
However - I don't want to purchase the engine without somebody looking at the engine
first. Doesn anyone who understands about engines (and has the right equipment to
inspect the engine) live in this area? I would pay expenses up to $100 to get this engine
inspected. I would need a complete inspection. I saw my mechanic using some kind of
fiber optic tool to look inside the engine through the spark plug holes and oil pan drain
plug.

Thanks

Olivier

If nobody closer volunteers I could. I dont have any fiber optics to look inside but I have bought/built my fair share of engines. It's about 100 miles from me but I know that there are quite a few guys on the forum from OKC. You might want to post on the Southwest regional board also. Let me know.....

I posted at the C5, C4, C3, C2/C1 Forum. I think that there should be someone
around OKC... (Is Piedmont near OKC???)
The inspection with fiber optics is important because the seller claims that the engine
has been rebuilt and all the components are new. I need somebody to look into the
engine - and the only way to know for sure is fiber optics - right???
