Update
Found the larger ground wire not connected to bolt on bottom of starter motor.
Blower fan working in all speeds except high".......doesn't matter if twin ground black wire is connected to relay or not works the same.
Black twin wire to relay gets very hot when ignition is on, blower fan still works except for high speed.
Am I getting any closer to solving the mystery?
Could the relay be faulty.........remember, fan works in lower speeds whether ground wire is connected to relay or not

2nd part of my wiring problem!
My 76 is fitted with the optional pulse wiper motor (has extra red lead coming out of front plastic housing)
What I would like to know is to what wire from the wiring harness does this connect to, I can't find any spare wires in the engine bay anywhere?
