Default Power Mirrors

Yesterday I decided to change out my power window switch since it was obvious that someone had put in switches from another gm car and also decide to change the joy stick for the power mirrors to the correct alignment ( up was down and out was in they worked it was just annoying) found that the joy stick was correctly aligned can only go in one way but the wire for some reason were cut and re wired in my haste I took off the electrical tape it sparked now I have no power. So question what fuse controls the power mirrors not in my assembly manual or repair manual. Also the power window switch insert on consol were butchered so that was also a bust.

Owner's manual will show the PM fuse. If memory serves, there is also a relay for the mirrors.

Radio fuse controls the mirrors.

Well don’t have an owner’s manual and the radio is working. Are mirrors always hot or do you have the ignition for them to work? I did try with on

From the factory the mirrors are hot at the same the radio is,acc or on position.
Sounds like bubba might have done some rewiring so the mirror power could come from anywhere.
Did you have the ignition key turned on when you sparked the wires ?

key was on because i was also checking window switches. I pulled every fuse and check them with a meter. They were all good so problem is somewhere else. I need to find a schematic or find out where the power comes from

Check the brown/white stripe at the switch for power.
