Do the math and if you are doing over 6000 rpm You might be exceeding the alternator limits. My Power master came with two pulleys and it said to not exceed 17,000 rpm or something.
Thanks Gkull. Problem is I have no idea what the limit is for my alt. Maybe it should be looked at from the other end. Assuming I don't don't do much city driving (my town only has 6 stop lights in total), if I keep an eye on the battery charge, is it going to be a pain in the a$$ other wise. Plus being a tad safer at 6500rpms?
I'm all about being subtle and a Vette is still a Vette! Yanks need to know that we have treasures here too. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Wonder if I need an under-drive pulley for this girl?

Bud.
PS. that is a real nice chrome bumper Mate!
Thanks for the compliment . Just got her registered and on the road. I have to install a new clutch master cylinder this weekend, its had a Wilwood conversion, I picked up the parts this evening.
In your case i would enlarge the outline of the pully accordingly to the rpm´s.
If you always run the engine 20% higher than the normal user does, enlarge the outline of the pully 20% and the alternator will feel fine.
