Default Water pump casting numbers help!

Not a stock corvette part, but its on my corvette...anyway, im trying to figure out what cars this water pump came on and cant find anything on the casting numbers. The numbers on the left side of the pump read "GM12" with "8782608" and on the right side "H226." Any help decoding this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A Google search turns up a 1964 Chevy II water pump used on 283/327. Although the H226 casting number would indicate August 22 1966 casting date.

It's actually 3782608, and it was used on just about every small block engine from 1961 through 1967. Like mapman says, yours is dated August 22nd, 1966, so it would have been installed on an early 1967 production car.
