Need help fast....hood cable broke
Rotten hood cable broke and the passenger side is still locked. Any way to open this, or am I going to really be upset?

I don't think the side to side cable is on but I'll give it a try, I think the sidepipes are going to be in the way though. Thanks!

Everyone should replace their underhood cable now. It is a $25 item. Would you pay $25 now to have someone fix your problem? Do it before it happens.

What year is the car? If it's a '73 up, then you can pop the passenger side hood release by going into the cowl area, removing the inspection plug near the pass. wiper, and then manually trip the latch release with a screw driver.

I agree with Larry, check your cables. Mine snapped right at the end and if you don't know what everyone told me you'll end up sticking your arm way up inside through the side vent and spend about an hour swearing like an idiot :D instead of doing it the easy way.
