Advice needed on seldom driven 82 vette
Any advice, warnings or things to look for on an 82 vette that the owner says has only been driven about 300 - 400 miles in the last ten years mostly around the block to keep it loose?

Just bought a 1970 LT-1 that sat for 23 years. I'm replacing ALL belts, hoses, rubber seals, dropping and draining the tank, rebuilding the carb, changing the thermostat, replaceing all fluids..etc. Over the net six months each system will be checked for leaks and rebuilt or replaced from fuel system to cooling to suspension and brakes. I plan to put a few thou into her before I will safely drive. Worth the investment on mine..but don't know much about the 82 year value.
PS Why did it sit? Could be a clue to possible engine issues that can't be seen.
