so Im rebuilding the motor to go in a 79 vette and I want to keep the stock hood but im not sure which intake to choose. I see some dont fit or at least they say they dont. The car wont be used on the strip so top end hp is not needed. The motor is already 30 over and will have aluminum heads with 9.5:1 compression. Any suggestions?
If square bore Holley, you could use the EPS OR sq. or spread bore work w/ Performer Air Gap for mild setups & easy fit.
For more cam higher power setups the RPMs fit w/ aftermarket drop base filter & Holley w/ our med. rise 73-79 hoods.

thanks alot! I planned on using square bore. So the best gains that would fit are from an Edelbrock air gap rpm #7501 as long as i use a drop down air filter?
