I am getting the motor worked on. New gaskets and basic stuff followed up by a new carb, ignition, and dressed up. Hope to have the finished pictures soon. I am going to put the orginal radio back in and then send it off to the paint shop. I HOPE TO GET THOSE LIGHTS FIXED. :)

I have taken it to two different people and they can't get them to work. I will get them right oneday. :)
The Vette looks nice.
I've been working on mine for over 4 years now, it's still not done so don't worry about yours, we are all pretty much in the same boat. About your headlights, are they stuck in the up position? On my 81 there is a little pull down switch right under the steering column that overrides the headlights, check to see if you have one, it might just need to be pushed back up. If that's not the problem do a search for Vette Vaccum, I think the guy (Chris?) is on the forum too, he has a small guide on the vacuum hose routing that should help.

My headlights were once stuck in the up position. I replaced a small, inconspicuous part called the "vacuum hose check valve" for about 20 bucks and that solved my problem. It should be available from any Vette parts supplier.
