'81 Windshield Wiper Problems

I have used my C3 with the poor combination of slow speed only wipers and Rain X for the past ten years. Now even the slow speed has stopped.

I am a pretty good parts changer. Where should I start and can I save any money along the way?

I would start by testing the motor.. I have a thread running with a video for the 1968-1972 motors.. but the test is pretty much the same.

If you do this on the car make sure you take ALL Wires off the motor... and make sure to 1) either remove the wiper transmission bell crank from the motor (1 nut) or that you put some water on the windshield...

Then I would look hard at the switch.
