Well I finally did it. The interior is done marking the end of any "labor" jobs on the Vette leaving the paint touch-up on the nose from rock chips (third touch-up since the paint job). This marks the end of the Corvette's restoration. I took the Vette to La Mesa and enjoyed the 200 plus cars there every Thursday night. I have pics from my new digital camera and finalized the mini disc but my CD-ROM drive on my Dell laptop just gave out! :mad So I cannot share the 50 plus pics I took. You guys need to see the 67 Pro-Street Vette pics I took. Never met the owner but it was one of the meanest Vettes I have seen to date. For those following my interior resoration the pics will be sent to you tommorow morning when my girlfriend E-mails me them or Tuesday latest when the Dell CD-RX module arrives. So stoked!!!!!
Have you ever done the Escondido cruise, its plain awesome - more cars than La mesa - better cruising (wider streets) - parking is just as difficult :( Not as cozey as La Mesa with its very cool narrow street, Escondido's cruise is right down Grand I think it is - big 4 lane road - lots of good cars, music - some food - only one bar though....
Escondido happens on fridays
Even the cops have joined in - they have a fully restored Harley trike that is always there.
