I'm so mad
Here's what happened this morning after my daily driver already died the other day. I got in the vette. Crank, crank, crank. No start. Look at the carb, she has gas. Look at my battery and burn my hand on the ground cable. What's the problem here? Any ideas. I'm pretty ticked off. This will probably be the straw the breaks the camals back and forces me to pull every stinking wire out of the whole car and rewire it. Maybe no spark? I was thinking that.

I'll have to wait till my brother gets home so he can bump the motor over. I have a funny feeling that it has something to do with the wiring.

Do you have a MSD 6AL ingnition control box with a rev limiter pill in it? If you do remove the rev limiter pill. This happened to me one morning and I had to get to work so I made other arragment to get ther that morning. When I got home from work I started checking Gas, battery just as you did and for some reason the first thing I did when I began shecking for spark is remove the rev limiter pill. It fired right up. I don't know if it is the pill or the box but as long as it starts I can live without the rev limiter.

It was the cap and rotor oddly. I replaced them after finding that the distributor has juice. Then she started right up. This is strange that the cap and rotor went bad on a new distributor that is only like a couple of months old. The wiring is definitly getting replaced. It's a matter of only a couple of days before i start on it.
