Default Expansion Tank

My expansion tank is corroded..is there a difference between the big block and small block expansion tank in 1970? Everywhere i look says small block expansion tank...none say big block. The pictures they have on the websites look the same as my big block tank though.

Thanks.

Ecklers is listing this one for big block cars:

It sounds like your car was originally a small block.

That is the expansion tank if you have air conditioning....my car is all original numbers matching so it was originally a big block car.

What type of corrosion? The tanks are aluminum. They will oxidize, but usually do not corrode. Will yours clean up?
