Default Turn signal problem on 76

The front and side passenger turn signals will not flash in my 76, either using the turn signal or the hazard. Also, the green indicator arrow will not light. They do however light up when the headlights are on or the parking light switch is on. The rear turn signals, marker lights and brake lights are fine.

I switched the sockets from driver to passenger and the passenger still would not flash but the driver did, leaving me to the conclusion (based on reading I've done in these forums) that I don't have a socket or ground problem.

Any ideas?

Interesting.

I have a 76 L-82. My signal lights on the car all work fine. However, from time to time the green arrow on the right hand turn signal does not light up. I can hear the ticking and see the lights are blinking form outside the car but the green arrow doesn't light. Then other times it works fine.

Hmm

Default turn signals

I recently had similar problems with my 77. I basicly went through whole system and found the contacts on the flasher werent tight and it was intermitently giving me a problem. check grounding and all connections.hope this helps.
