WIPER MOTOR WIRING ?????
Can anyone show me a diagram or explain to me which wires are supposed to be connected to the wiper motor for a '77. Also how and where is the ground wire connection? I put in a new motor, but still have no wipers! The connections just don't look correct.

I'm not sure if 77 is the same as 69 & 71 but on those....
There is a wire plug with three wires that plugs in below the washer unit and above the motor. It can only go on one way. There is another plug of two wires (one is yellow from memory) that plugs into the washer unit. The ground comes off one of the screw on the washer cover (the lower one on the drivers side). It plugs into a black wire on the harness.
A couple other things... The wiper switch must have a good ground to operate correctly. Also, it can be plugged in backwards and won't work.
BUT I've never worked on a 77 - I hope they are the same.
