In that case all you have to do is take the column apart and tighten the screws.

In my case, the bearing housing support (item 49) and the bearing housing (item 24) both had worn bores at the pivot points, so I had to replace them to get rid of the wobble.
(#48 in the above picture) that hold the bearing housing support (#49)to the support plate lock (#55). It is not impossible to locktite and retorque those 4 screws with the column still in the car but I have found it to be much easier to remove the column from the car before major disassembly. (I would remove the steering wheel first, it is easy.)
