Default Correct Tripower Intake with given Carb set

Hello,

Looking for the correct intake for my tri power Carbs. I have a 4055-1 and two 3659's.

The date code for the 4055-1 is 892.

The date code for both 3659's is 792.

Which intake is the correct intake for this carb set?

Thanks

Do your heads have square or oval ports?

The date code for the 4055-1 is 892.
The date code for both 3659's is 792.
The 4055 is dated the second week of September, 1968 (used in the 1969 model year) and the 3659's are dated the second week of September, 1967 (used in the 1968 model year), so you have a mismatch set. What year is your car and what engine do you have (427/400 or 427/435)?

And as Sam and Jess stated, do your heads have rectangular or oval ports? That will dictate which intake you need. But since the carbs are different dates, you'll have to decide if you want to use the 1968 intake or the 1969.

Early 1968 427/400 (oval port) intake - 3919850
Early 1968 427/435 (rectangular port) intake - 3919852

Late 1968 and all of 1969 427/400 (oval port) intake - 3937795
Late 1968 and all of 1969 427/435 (rectangular port) intake - 3937797
