>>That is a very hot lookin' '73. What made you decide to go with 15s, as
>>opposed to the next two sizes up?
My reason to go with 15" Cragars was easy: $$$$ (not for the rims but for the tires)
Here is the calculation:
Cragar 15x8
4 x $ 125 (rims) = $500
4 x $70 (BFG 255/60R15) = $280
Install/Balancing = $40
Total money spent: approx. $820
Here is what I would have spent with 17x8
4 x $230 (rims) = $920
4 x $170 (tires) = $680
Install/Balanceing=$ 40
Total cost $1640
Well, the better looks of the 17" would cost me twice the money and those low profile tires wear very fast..... I had Firestone Firehawk SZ50's on my 95 Vert (sold) and the thread was gone after 12000 miles without driving excessively aggressive
I've always loved the Torque Thrust grey or polished centers. Haven't ever been a fan of Cragars just wasn't me. I want to see the Edelbrock wheels in person :yesnod:
I REALLY like the TTII's but they are getting TOO common around here on everything from Camaro's to street rods. Halibrand is just down the road and makes a similar wheel.
Best of luck with your desicion.
I have wild paint...so I am thinking about a wild wheel.

At first I saw only the wheels and I said to myself: "Oh my god! How strange!" Then I saw your car and said: "Oh, nevermind. Those would go great together."
Here's my vote.........17" on the '79, 15" on the '67.
BTW, Cragars are a chrome steel rim on a chrome plated aluminum center; TTII's are all polished aluminum;
My tires are BFG 255/60 15s on the front and 275/60 15s on the rear. I do have offset trailing arms so I could go with a wider tire on the rear. Maybe someday. Rod
