81 fan switch observation
Since installation of new aluminum heads I have noticed that the two electric fans are coming on now....never did that with the iron heads.
I checked the fan switch and when cold it is open....so it is working.
I guess since I have increased compression ratio (70 vrs 76cc heads) that engine is running hotter now causing the fans to come on.
Anyone else notice this with going from iron to aluminum heads??
Hopefully this is normal operation and I am not headed for a diaster.
