does any body have info on swapping carb for tbi on 76 l48

Out of curiosity why would you want to do that?

i thougt it would help it run better. when you start it you might have to stay on the gas to keep running or it might run 1500 rpm till warm.bought the car 3weeks ago .put 300 miles on it water pump went out put new water pump on .took test drive auto trans shifts to 3rd then starts toslip drops back to 2nd weak rev. changed fluid and filter didnt help.oh yea while i was doing fliud and filter my ramp collapsed car fell on me and broke 4 ribs and i still love that orange stingray!!!

Wow! TBI is computer controlled, a lot easier to fix your carburetor problems. Sounds like you have to start with the transmission coming out.
