3 laps at Watkins Glen

3 laps at Watkins Glen
The wife and I went to The Glen today to drive the track.
Controlled speed was 55 MPH. but we were able to lay back a little
and do 75 in some places. All in all it was a thrill to get to drive the track
where we have watched so many races. She manned the in car video
camera so we have a nice view of the hood and the rise of the front fenders
that we all love as we made our way around the track. Almost didn`t
make it though 20 miles from home a half shaft universal decided to come
apart. I was able to limp it back home and get it fixed so we could still make
the trip. The chambered exhaust made a lot of track workers whip their
heads around as we went by at WOT. Hope none of them hurt themselves. :lol:

Too bad you couldnt go just a teeny bit faster.... maybe 100? I mean, if you can't go 100 on an actual race track, then where?? :) MJ

I would have liked to have gone faster but there was a mustang in front of me.
And I was a good boy and obeyed the "No Passing" rule. :blueangel:
