I am goign to go ahead and install a new clutch when i rebuild my tranny. I dont have a lot of money to spend but i dont want to be cheap and have ot do this again soon. Any advice on what to get would be appreciated. It will be behind a sb that probly makes around 300 hp. :chevy
I think the Center Force Dual Friction is a little overkill for your application. I have the Center Force that is one step below this. I race mine and abuse it pretty badly and it is holding up fine so far. I estimate i am running around 420 Hp in my car. So for 300 this should last a long time. Pedal effort is almost stock.
Thanks for the sugestions I went ahead and ordered the dual friction. I abuse the car pretty well and drag race it a few times a month. Also if i ever get the money the car will be making closer to 500 hp. :seeya
I agree with Gordon like I had said above, but since you beat it up a lot and drag race quite often, the DF is a good choice....and you definitely wont regret it if you ever get the motor up to 500HP
