Another clutch issue
I have a routine clutch question for all of the experienced pros out there. After searching every thread in the forum, my questions is simple- The replacement pressure plate that I bought is 1/8" shorter than the one taken out of the car (I purchased a Luk kit from NAPA). I realize they changed vendors in the past year or so, but essentially the angle of the fingers on the new pressure plate is not as steep as the old one.
Can I make up that difference with the adjustable pivot ball stud? I only want to put this thing together once. Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated!
