clutch diameter?

Default clutch diameter?

threw out the old disk and already had the flywheel cut.how would i find the diameter it is supposed to be on a 69 350 4 speed m 21 10 sline?

measure the flywheel...I believe the 12" flywheel takes the 10.4" disc, 14" flywheel takes an 11" disc

Isn't 10 spline the smaller clutch,10.4?

what do i measure outside diameter?

Count the number of teeth on the flywheel.
For 153 teeth you need the 10.5' clutch. For 168 teeth you should use the 11' clutch.
Also check the casting number of the bellhousing, if the last three digits are 621 you can use the 11' clutch (as long as you still have the 168 teeth flywheel)
