Re: Can someone check voltage @ wire 4 me? (stingraynick75)
Your instant message:
stingraynick75 (4:26 AM 5/7/2002): It is the motor conn. and the screw is one of three holding the plastic cover on near the 3-wire conn. and I belive the wire is black
I'm not snubbing your instant message...I'm using a mobile connection right now and can't see any images...and for some reason the instant message window doesn't have a "send" button for me to click.
Anyway, sounds like a grounding problem. The only time an attachment screw is used as a wire terminal is for grounding. Trace that wire to where it ends...could be a loose ground terminal. I'll be visiting my vette later this morning (it's in a storage shed waiting for me to finish the bumpers), but I won't have my volt meter with me...it's at DAVES80's place measuring the temperature of the "paint booth" so I won't be able to measure anything for another day or two.
Re: Can someone check voltage @ wire 4 me? (Rockn-Roll)
Thanx, like many others have said, electrical stuff is not my fav. but your right, I will trace the wire, the funny thing is it worked b4 I rebuilt the engine which I just installed and started driving last week. You know how important wipers are in the N.W.
