Default install 383 in 1972

I would appreciate any info on what issues I might encounter when installing a GM crate 383 in my 1972 Corvette convertible. I have the original 350 with a Edelbrock intake and 750 carb. I also have a Tremec 5 speed in it. I understand I might have a flywheel issue, and I also am unsure if the intake manifold will bolt up.

Thanks in advance for any input you might have........

If you are talking about the zz383 with head 12464298, it states in the GM performance parts manual that that head will bolt on early model intake manifolds

Make sure to take the flex plate off.
Also, I had a problem engaging the trans spline into the clutch disc splines.
Even though the plastic tool lined up the clutch disc the trans would not go in.
Turned out even though the plastic spline went in it still allowed the disc to be slightly off center.
