Default Pushrods

Hi guys, I have been looking for a set of new pushrods and was looking at the Proform pushrods Part#PRO-66891C. Have any of you guys used these before? What do you guys think of them?

I've never used them, but I have been happy with comp cams one piece.

They're made in the U.S. so they should be good pieces right?

Don't know what heads or guide plates your running, but for stock heads with no guide plates I would figure they'd be fine.

Are you sure stock length pushrods match the rest of your combination?

This is the recommended pushrod length, but I still haven't gotten to checking them myself. I'm just comparing prices right now, just in case I have to get those.

Okie dokie.

Summit and Jegs have some house brand ones too that might be OK depending on what you end up needing. Sadly they were never offered in a length I could use.

Default Trick Flow?

I don't know what price range u are considering. But just FYI the Trick Flow p-rods i bought measure a few thou" longer than the number they etched into the p-rod. I measured mine with a calibrated calipers at work.
But really close is good enough for most of our builds and my wear pattern on the vlv tip was as good as it could ever get even with the longe Trick Flow p-rods. Heck, unless u order custom length p-rods u can only buy them in something like .025" or .050" increments anyways. IMHO most get to wound up trying too hard on their first attempt at this p-rod measurement task. But once its done and u look back it is really simple to get the results u want. I burned several days trying a bunch of stuff but now i will nail it in 'bout 5 min work. At least now i get to laugh at all the experts blaberate how hard and expensive they have to make it to get it right.

Good luck and hope this helps,
cardo0

Yeah, I have the comp cams pushrod length checker, so I'm going to measure before ordering them. That was good info Cardo0. Thank you all for your help.
