looking forward to pics
I remember the first time I saw my 68 with a fresh coat of Corvette Bronze seems that was the day all the "dirty" work ended(sanding, blasting, cleaning etc) and the "clean" work began

Going to untape everything tomm pm. Ill be sure to get some shots of it. Got to get it back to my shop and let it alone to fully cure before I start assembling. Its not absolutely perfect but it was painted in an old barn and I think it turned out well considering.

My arms are sore from blocking and blocking and more blocking. Can't wait to get pics up. The man that sprayed it is 69 years old he did most of the work. I helped when I could. It was his barn it got painted in.

Re: Happy man today
It's a Nice fellin' isn't it ???? I got mine painted just a few months ago, after going through hell trying to get it done.
My Son & I been working on it little by little. It's a project car. BTW: The paint job hasn't been 'scuffed & buffed' yet. It came out of the booth this way. We used the 'Matrix Paint System' on it, as they're one of our Sponsers on this Project. It's a Special Mix, my son did. & it's 'tri-coat' with a pearl in the 'mid-coat' & tons of clear on it, so we got lots to 'knock off' trying to get it 'flat' & as 'shiney' as we can.
Good Luck With Yours & get those 'Pics' up.

Re: Happy Man Today
You Betcha ! My Son & I, who are doing this Project Car together, wanted to do something entirely different. So, my kid sez: "Hey, Dad, why don't we 'bag' this one?" & the rest is history.
It's an 'Air-Lift' System & works pretty good. My kid's the 'wiz' when it comes to bagging. I haven't a clue about any of it, excepy it looks cool slammed.
Too Bad 'ya can't cruise around in it all laid-out, as it would eventually 'trash' the stub shaft yokes & the rest of the rear end. So, it's gotta roll only at 'ride height' But, it goes down nicely. Can't wait to get this one done & get it to the shows.
Like they say: 'Ya gotta do somethin' to make your 'ride' stand out !

These were shot at night with terrible lighting will get more in the sunlight. Painter said he dont like it ,cutting with 2000 and reclearing. Then a light buff he said. Old man has ***** of steel to do the work he still does. He absolututely hated the rear bumper cover. It wouldnt block out and he wanted it straight. I told him numerous times to let it be that rubber will look like that, He just grumbled shook his head and kept blocking it. It is much straighter than it was.
