Did your hood start out being a daytona hood?

No it is a stock hood. I am going to add stiffeners on the inside then cut it, raise it and form a small opening at the front. I have done a lot of glass work and enjoy working with glass. I will be adding a higher intake so I need the clearance. But overall the shape is similar to what I have in mind.
