Transmission no worka so good
I HAVE A 72 VETTE WITH a 4 SPEED . My problem that when I shift to third gear it feels like maybe the shifter is not pushing into 3rd gear all the way .After I reshift a couple of times it will go all the way in gear and work fine . I am hoping it is an easy fix but I'm afraid it is the gears . Transmiision doesn't make any noise . any info or help will be appreciated very much . I would like to thank ahead of time for any help with this problem

Well I got lucky all that was needed was an adjustment of the shift rod .Thanks for the advice you guys . I was not looking forward to pulling the transmission are paying for a rebuild . C3's Rock !!!!

Back again with transmission questions as stated earlier I thought I solved my transmission problem . Upon testing the fix I found thaat sometimes it shifts fine other times not so fine any suggestions

If after your first adjustment it works some of the time, I'd say you are on the right track. Get back under there and check the adjustment, again, and also make sure that everything is well lubed up. A lot of guys forget to lube the shifter assembly as part of preventive maintenance.
