Default Straight Line Issue

When I hit the gas hard on my '73, the nose of the car veers to the left. The opposite happens when I let off quickly, the nose pulls to the right. I had the differential rebuilt last year. I'm thinking it may be an alignment issue with the front or rear end and hoping it's not the differential. Tires are not showing wear. Any ideas?

Usually a case or thrust angle. Have the alignment checked and look at bushings and shims.

Your trailing arm bushings are shot.

Are these easy to replace? Is there going to be tension on this when jacked up?

You were dead on. The driver's side trailing arm bushing has 1/2" of play in it. Doesn't look very easy to change.
