My next tackle>>>>>>>Headlights
3 months and $350 later, my steering column is done and the horn even blows
Now I need to find the headlight/vacuum GURU.
I've replaced every Vacuum hose to the headlight system and the headlight doors don't even try to go up.
I don't know which piece of the system isn't working properly and I'm sure it could be any/all of them but I do know the hoses are new and routed correctly.
Can anybody give me a test or place to start?

Buy a Mityvac, about $30-$40, and the best investment you'll make for your headlights. Learn how to use it and test both the actuators and the relays. Each should evacuate and hold vacuum for a spell. You'll probably find your problem. Good luck

Engine off; remove one of the hoses on each actuator. Crawl underneath and shoot some WD-40 on the moving parts. With a hose off, you can raise and lower the headlight doors by hand and -- at the least -- get them moving.
Reconnect the actuator hoses, fire it up, and check vacuum operation.
