Default Throw out Bearing arm

I think I have the answer to my question, but I thought I would verify it. Can someone share a photo on how the throw out bearing arm is mounted or being held in place on the bell housing? thank you.

I don't have a pic, but it's pretty easy to describe. The socket in the fork sits over the ball that's on the bellhousing. The fork as a fork shaped steel spring clip riveted to it that holds it in place. You slide the ball between the fingers of the clip and it snaps it into place.

What may be causing you difficulty is that often the clip is broken with only one finger, or no fingers leaving you to wonder what the neck holds it in place.

Looking at that photo, I did not see any clip on the arm. Then again I was not looking for a clip to hold it, I was focusing on a bolt from behind the bell housing. I will check and come back with the result. thank you

A clip is riveted onto the clutch fork. It grabs the ball stud. The clips are known to break off. Get a new clip and rivet it back on. Among others, Zip sells the parts (CL-175).

Probably better off just buying a whole new clutch fork. Just picked one up from Summit yesterday, they had them ranging from $15 to $100. I picked up the McLeod Racing one for $34.
