What year Corvette are you working on? Your profile is blank, and you didn't bother to mention the year in your post.

Between 68 and 82, Corvette engines were first painted orange, then blue, and finally black (on some 82's). What color do you need?

If your looking for spray cans VHT Engine Enamel works well. It has prep, primer, color coat and clear. It comes out real well if you take your time. If your using a gun, Eastwood has a ceramic engine paint.

I think that Seymour seems to make the best quality engine paints.

Your 80 would have originally been paint GM Corporate Blue. Seymour offers both the GM Blue and the Chevrolet Orange, in their "Hi Tech Engine Coating" line of paints. You should be able to find it at a local auto parts store, or from one of the Corvette vendors.

I'm pretty sure that Volunteer Products sells Seymour paints, though they are re-labeled with Volunteers own label.
