Lower control arm mount problem

Lower control arm mount problem
The lower control arm brackets have torn loose from the frame on my 80. This is not a rust or collision related problem as my frame is straight and solid. I was told by another member that this is not uncommon for gymkhana cars and I have the basic instructions on making repairs. However, I don't want to do it more than once. Have any of you had or heard of the problem and are there special steps that will make the repair permanent?

I had a 74 Vette that the welds broke loose in a auto-cross, Im currently doing a frame off on another vette and per this forum got some pics on adding gussets to that area. Do a search and hopefully you can find it, It had lots of pictures on different places to beef up the frame. Good luck, E
